When HTS started the “Deterrence of the Aggression” offensive on November 27 toward Aleppo and rapidly took over major Syrian cities, a plethora of several other militant groups and factions accompanied the bulk of the coalition’s forces. Some jihadist groups such as Central Asian organisations Tavhid va Jihod Katibasi and G’uroba led the vanguard of HTS, while others, including the major Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP), made a huge chunk of ground forces and openly displayed their professionalism and training.
